Rate methodology
This page explains where the brokered CD information on this website comes from, how it is verified, and what we deliberately leave out.

Sources
Options displayed on this website are supplied by participating providers. Each listing must include a stated term, a stated maturity date, an APY, a minimum deposit, an interest-payment schedule and confirmation that the issuer is an FDIC-member bank. The specific issuing bank name is verified in our feed but is only revealed after a user completes an inquiry.
Verification
Every listing carries its own last-verified timestamp shown in the comparison table. When an option cannot be re-verified with the provider, it is removed rather than left in place with a stale timestamp. Rates, yields, terms and availability can change between verification passes, and the final terms are always the ones disclosed by the provider and issuing bank before a transaction is completed.
Scope and exclusions
This program focuses on non-callable brokered CDs, so callable structures are outside its scope. We do not display estimated, modeled, promotional or projected yields, and we do not show teaser pricing that is not currently obtainable.
What we do not claim
We do not rank, rate, endorse or give awards to issuing banks or providers, and we do not publish testimonials, performance claims or statistics we cannot source. Nothing on this website is financial, legal or tax advice.
Corrections
